Once again, it's been a long time, with no journal. So here's a meme:

After seeing ~lady-of-many-hats go through this meme with Yee, it was a mutual decision between Anu and me that this must be done.

Any text that is written mostly in italics is Anu.

1) What is your dragon's name?
Ooh, ooh! I know this one!
Of course you do, Anu.

2) How old is your dragon?
Hmm, how many years has it been...? One thousand...two thousand...three thousand? Can we just round it up to infinity?
Sure, since all the gods have been around since before Sylvalus or its respective method of keeping track of time, yeah. ∞ years old.

3) What colour is your dragon?
His colour can change as he sees fit, but he's usually grey (often with a slight red tint) with dull yellow underbelly scales.
As much as I adore colourful things, I like my colours to be rather dull. It allows people to focus more on my shimmering personality!

4) How tall is your dragon?
Once again, it changes. But in most common circumstances, he's between six and seven metres tall, at the shoulder.

5) What kind of body type does your dragon have?
Okay, I think it's pretty obvious that he changes, so just assume from now on I only mean his most common form. He's a classic European-style dragon; that four-legged, winged, long-necked, horned, dinosaur-type dragon.

6) What element is your dragon? (JUST ONE)
J-just one?! But Chaos covers so many things! Air, fire, water, and even luck, depending on your definition of element...
If I really can only go with one to describe him, I suppose I'd say fire. But really, the only accurate description of him in that respect is that he's a Chaos dragon.

7) What is your dragon's eye colour?
Green. That's the easiest question since #1!

8) What is your dragon's hobby?
Do I have to pick just one thing? Again? That's silly. I won't settle for just one.
Anu enjoys playing pranks, games of chance, travelling about and between worlds, causing storms, setting things on fire, jokes, and mischief in general.
...that sounds like some sort of personal ad gone wrong...
Yeah...besides, they're not really hobbies, per se, just interests...but let's move on.

9) What season best represents your dragon?
Hmm...the dry season.
...really?
What? They never defined whether it was temperate or tropical! Besides, with my love of the desert, could you see me as any other season?
Hmm, I guess you've got a good point, sort of.

10) What mood is your dragon usually in?
The best mood.
...he's usually pretty cheerful. You rarely see him sad, angry, or even just serious.

11) What is your dragon's favourite food?
Anything with a great deal of spice, really. If it's hot enough to make you cry, I'll probably love it. Qotnan cuisine is the best.
Oddly enough, Anu's the only one of the gods who ever eats anything at all...
Lil and Apsu are really missing out, but there's no way to convince them of it.

12) What is your dragon's favourite place?
Ah, I've seen too many great places to be able to choose a favourite, really... though there is this one beach in Hyresti that holds a lot of good memories for me...
Save it for the romance section, Anu.
Well then I guess I'll say the Qotnan mountains. You can usually find me hanging around there, for whatever reason.

13) What is your dragon's favourite weapon?
Like, weapons as in the physical objects, the tools of war? Hahaha, come on! I don't need those. Most sylvae don't even need them. If magic counts, though, I'll state the obvious and go for Chaos magic, I guess.

14) How does your dragon want to die?
...Pfffft-AHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's rich!
Hahaha! Anu's a god. Enough said.
Besides, I'm already in the afterlife, even as we speak! Where would I go if I died?

15) What does your dragon think is the most beautiful way to die?
Instantaneous incineration. I don't resort to killing people often, but honestly, heating them, in an instant, to the point at which they simply disintegrate into dust in the air is quite a sight to behold.

16) What is your dragon's favorite thing to do?
Ah, you could probably just read #8 again for that...

17) What does your dragon love most?
I don't know if there's an answer to this that isn't just a rehashing of earlier answers.
I think I've got one, though. Sylvalus, as a whole. Lil, Apsu, and I don't usually work together on things like we did in creating Sylvalus, but it really turned out to be a beautiful thing. I don't know if there's anything more valuable to me than our creation...

Sitting still.

19) Who does your dragon treasure most?
Hmm, just the obvious. Oona, and all my kids, both the ones I made (literally so, the Qotnani), and the ones I made (as in, with Oona).

20) Who does your dragon hate most?
Another easy one for you, Anu.
Apsu. But don't get me wrong, I don't want him dead or anything, but he is my antithesis and all.

21) How strong (physically) is your dragon?
He's a god, he's as strong as he wants to be. 5.
I could probably rip a hole in the fabric of reality with just my claws, if I wanted to.

22) How stable (emotionally) is your dragon?
Oh, certainly another 5.
Haha, surprisingly, not far off. He's very stable, considering he's the god of Chaos. It's largely due to the fact that he's got an overgrown sense of humour, and takes most things as jokes or in stride. 4.

23) How agile is your dragon on the ground?
Faster than just about anything else when running, if only because he's so large he covers significantly more ground with each step. If in a more moderately-sized version of his dragon form, he'd probably only be a little bit above average in speed, and not exactly the most maneuverable. 3.
Factoring in scale? Really? That should've been a 5, definitely, or at least a 4.

24) How agile is your dragon in the air?
Oh, being a natural flier and having control over the winds around him? 5. Without a doubt.
I won't argue with that!

25) How agile is your dragon in the water?
Amazingly. 5.
Using Chaos to keep the water away from you and just running around in a self-sustained air bubble doesn't count, Anu.
Okay, okay. A 4, then.
As long as he's in his dragon form, he's a disaster in the water. Sinks like a rock. 1.

26) How happy is your dragon?
Definitely a 5 here. Change to 4 when Apsu is around.

27) How hyper is your dragon?
I've never really thought about Anu in terms of hyperactivity, but quite a bit, yeah. 4.
No objections on that one.

28) How violent is your dragon?
If you mean in terms of how prone he is to violence, then quite low. A 1. However, if you mean how violent he is if you manage to find a way to anger him to that point, a 4 , maybe?

29) How loving is your dragon (to everyone)?
Other than maybe Apsu, there aren't many people I'm not good to. 5.
Don't take his word on it. If you're not a close friend of his, don't take his word on anything. He's likely to lie to people, and sometimes put them in bad situations just for the fun of it. He's not openly mean to anyone, though, so I guess you could say like, a 3?
Don't believe him. I've never lied to anyone in my life.

30) How loving is your dragon (to specific people)?
Can I get a 5 on this one, at least?
I suppose so. He generally won't let you know if you've reached this point, but if you're someone he likes a lot, he'll generally value you over his jokes, won't put you in situations that could harm you, and will be a genuine, almost reliable friend to you. 5.

31) Is your dragon in love?
Yup, and happily so.

32) Does the one s/he loves love him back?
I'd think so, since she's still hanging around with me in the afterlife...
I'd say yes.

Open enough to reveal to her that I'm a god, at least.

34) Does your dragon believe in romance without a physical relationship?
Well, as previously stated, we're still in love with each other in the afterlife, a not-strictly physical plane...
I don't think that's what it means.
Oh, well then yes, physical relationship is necessary. Completely.

35) What does your dragon like most in a lover?
I've only ever fallen in love with one girl, and even then, I can't exactly pinpoint why, so, I guess I like Oona-ness?
That's not a very straight answer.
Well, I'm not looking for anyone else, so why should I let them know what I like in a lover?

36) Does your dragon believe that everyone has someone out there?
With the possible exception of Apsu, of course! If I can find one girl to settle down with for eternity, I'm sure the rest of you can find people you can spend a measly lifetime with.

37) How does your dragon deal with rejection?
Never had to, never will.

38) Does your dragon want to love?
What does that even mean? It's not like I'm in love against my will...
I take that as a yes? Maybe? I don't really get the question either.

39) Does your dragon believe they deserve to be loved?
Without a shadow of a doubt. I'm responsible for a third of the population of Sylvalus. I at least deserve to be loved by them. I'm deserving of everyone else's love simply because I'm a great guy.

40) Where does your dragon think is the most romantic place to be?
Oh, a special spot in the afterlife. I can't really go into detail. Spoilers for all you mortals, y'see.

Well, for me to be alone in the woods, I'd have to be going to visit Liluri. So, other than that obvious 'turn around' bit, I might presume it to be her...
Wait, just for the sake of poking fun at a weird question here, how often would you be in the woods and not hear 'a noise' behind yourself? The woods tend to be full of little noises...

42) Your dragon is betrayed by the one they love, what do they do?
Betrayed in what way?
I'm not sure, actually. Maybe she cheated on you?
Well, if it was anyone but Oona, I'd be pleasantly surprised that they knew me well enough to know I love such trickery. If it were Oona, though, I'd wake up and wonder if gods actually can sleep and dream, because she'd never do it in this, or any, reality.

43) Your dragon finds themselves in a very romantic situation, what do they do?
Oona.

44) Your dragon is openly insulted in front of other dragons, how do they deal with it?
In what situation would that happen? To my knowledge, Sylvalus doesn't have a very large dragon population...
Say I was visiting a world in which dragons were a dominant species? In that case, there'd be three options, depending on how much they manage to actually irk me. In most situations, I'd likely laugh it off. If put me off a little, they'd get a retort, and if they can do what even Apsu can't, and insult me to the point of rage, I'd have to remind them that they're not just dealing with another dragon...

45) Your dragon is forced to spend time with an elder dragon that they cannot stand, what do they do?
A dragon that's my elder? Wow...older than infinity? Is that possible?
No, and I can't really imagine you being 'forced' to do that either. This question doesn't really apply, I think. Let's change it to "Anu is forced by Liluri to spend time with Apsu, what does he do?"
Easy! Spend the entire time riling him up and making fun of him, that's what.
I...think we've entirely missed the point of the question now. Let's move on.

46) Your dragon finds out they are dying, what do they do?
Hahaha, again with the dying? I won't die.
Okay, hypothetical situation: you can die, and just found out you'll die soon. What would you do with the rest of your life?
Oh, alright. Referring back to the question about the most beautiful way to die, I'd perform that on myself, just so everyone could get a nice, fiery show out of it.
Haha, I guess that's the best answer I can expect from you on that.

47) Your dragon is ignored by the one they love but is loved by a dragon that they ignored, how do they deal with it?
Haha, there are other dragons out there in love with me? I've gotta say, sorry, I'm taken. And really, you shouldn't set your sights so high.
And about being ignored by the one you love?
Okay, another one of these 'hypothetical situations'. If Oona ignored me? I'd take greater and greater measures in order to make her notice me again. And really, I'm a god, there are no greatest measures. She'd notice me, eventually.

48) Your dragon is surrounded, how do they fight the enemies off?
There are enough people who dislike me for them to be able to surround me? That hurts! But really, if I wanted them dead, I'd set everything within a ten metre radius of me on fire. That works for most people.

49) Someone tells your dragon all of their shortcomings, they were intending to be cruel but they didn’t say anything that wasn’t true, What does your dragon do?
Wow, that's a bold thing to do to a god.
I'd actually be rather shocked, and reply, "Wow, I had no idea Sylvalus had such well-read theologians! It's rather flattering that you've devoted enough time to getting to know me that well!"

50) Your dragon just had to do this meme, what does s/he want to do now?
I'd like to go hang around with Relm. He doesn't ask nearly so many questions. ...at least not in a row.
I can agree with that. This was a lot of questions to answer.
